St. Joseph's Church is one of the largest parishes in the Diocese of Trenton and is the religious center of St. Joseph's Grade School and Donovan Catholic High School. Prior to 1993, the church was located in what is now the grade school's gym (its stained glass windows still remain), but it moved to a much larger location at the southern end of campus. The church's current pastor (and director of the schools) is Fr. G. Scott Shaffer.
Connection to the school[]
The grade school's kindergarten classes are located in the basement, and some of the high school's AP exams are given in other rooms in the basement. Masses and prayer services are held regularly, for the grade school and high school. On the day of a Mass or prayer service, Donovan Catholic runs on a modified schedule.
