The Quadrangle (or "Quad") is a landscaped park in the center of the campus. Three paths converge on a center circle, in which there is a statue of St. Joseph. The quad has a total area of 265 x 112 feet (29,700 sq. ft.) according to Google Earth.  In the 2011-2012 school year, many of its trees were cut down.  The Quad Beautification Project began the next year, with the installation of pavers and planting of shrubs.  Personalized paving stones are still being added.  Every year since 2013, the Alumni Office has organized a "Griffinfest" in the redesigned Quad.

Function[]

During the Flex block, the Quad is an area of social gathering. The Class of 2005's gifts to the school were picnic benches, where students could sit and eat during Flex. During the winter months, the Quad is typically closed, but throughout the year, students can usually pass through there to get to classes. The northern exit leads to the main hallway; the western exit leads to the 400's, while the eastern exit leads to the southern three-floor staircase.
